8 Innovative Features of the 2025 Audi e-tron GT

The Audi e-tron GT is an electric car that promises drivers intense thrills during every drive. With an all-new top-spec trim and power boosts across all models, the 2025 Audi e-tron GT is quicker and more powerful than ever before. Let’s explore some of its innovative features.

8 Innovative Features of the 2025 Audi e-tron GT

1. Upgraded High-Voltage Battery

The lithium-ion battery that fuels the e-tron GT’s electrifying performance has seen a sizable upgrade for 2025, now with a gross energy output of 105 kWh (97-kWh usable). That’s a 12% increase over the previous generation battery. It uses an 800-volt architecture that enables a 70% replenishment rate in just 18 minutes with a DC fast charger.

2. Three Levels of Thrills

For 2025, the e-tron GT is available in three trims, all of which have a dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup. The base S e-tron GT generates up to 670 horsepower with launch control, while the RS e-tron GT delivers 844 horsepower. The new RS e-tron Performance model peaks at 912 horsepower with launch control, which enables a blistering 0-60-mph time of just 2.5 seconds.

3. Two-Speed Automatic Transmission

Uniquely, the e-tron GT features a two-speed automatic transmission on the rear axle. The first gear helps facilitate the car’s impressive acceleration, while the second gear is for optimal efficiency.

4. Next-Gen Regenerative Braking

The e-tron GT’s regenerative braking has increased from 290 kW to 400 kW, enabling the car to recover more energy when slowing down. You can adjust your desired regen strength via the steering wheel paddles, switching between three levels or selecting automatic mode.

5. Styling Refresh

The car debuts a new front end with a restyled grille and larger air inlets. All trims feature new wheel designs, with 20-inch wheels and red brake calipers on the S and RS trims, and 21-inch 6-double-spoke wheels in the RS Performance trim.

6. Eco-Friendly Materials

Audi has incorporated recycled textiles into the e-tron GT’s cabin. These textiles include Dinamica microfiber (37-45% recycled polyester), Cascade fabric (35% recycled), and Econyl carpets made from recycled nylon.

7. Panoramic Glass Roof

New for 2025 is the availability of a panoramic glass roof with PDLC smart glass. Four shading levels are available to take the car from opaque to transparent, which can be selected via the MMI display.

8. Advanced Infotainment System

The e-tron GT integrates the latest MMI Touch Responsive infotainment system, which features a 10.1-inch central touchscreen. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An available 16-speaker B&O sound system upgrades the standard stereo.

Thanks to improvements in engineering, design, and battery technology, the Audi e-tron GT is more potent than it’s ever been. Stop by Audi West County in Ellisville, MO to take it for a test drive.
