For the first time in the history of the Honda Civic, we have a hybrid variant to choose from. The 2025 Civic can be had with the available hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors. This eco-friendly powertrain makes a net 200 horsepower and serves up 49 mpg combined (50 city/47 highway).

If you prefer your Civic with the gas-only engine, you can get that as well. The base Civic is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a CVT. It pumps out 150 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. Average fuel economy for the gas Civic is 36 miles to the gallon (32 city/41 highway).

2. Comfortable Cabin

The Civic has a roomy cabin with comfortable seats and ample legroom on both rows. You get 42.3 inches of legroom in the front and 37.4 inches in the rear. Cloth seats are standard, and leather is available if you need that extra touch of luxury. You can find comforts like dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and power seats in top trims.

3. Intuitive Tech Interface

Up front, the Civic has a high-tech dash that hosts a 7-inch instrument panel and a 7-inch touchscreen display. With standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can listen to music, send texts, and even access your favorite navigation apps on the screen.

A 9-inch touchscreen display and a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel are available in the Sport Touring Hybrid trim. You can also get Google built-in, Alexa built-in, and a premium Bose sound system with 12 speakers.

The Civic is equipped with features that make everyday driving a breeze. It comes standard with power side mirrors, push-button ignition, and cruise control. Honda’s smart entry system with walk-away auto lock is available.

This feature lets you unlock the car without taking the keys out of your pocket or bag. Just grab the door handle, and the car will unlock automatically. Once you’ve packed and walked away with the key, the car locks itself, as long as the “walk away auto lock” feature is activated.
