Now in the sixth year of production, the Mustang Mach-E has sold almost 163,000 units. Over 3,500 have been sold with just this year’s model already. The Mach-E Select comes with a 73 Kwh standard-range battery, allowing for a 260-mile capacity on a full charge from its RWD (Rear eMotor).

Exterior Features

The sleek lines of the Mustang are showcased by something extraordinary: the lack of door handles. Entry into the vehicle is granted either by the Securicode keyless-entry keypad or from an app on your phone. LED projector headlamps adorn the front of the vehicle while the LED taillights have a sequential feature making your turns more noticeable. Heated glass helps on those cold and wintery days. Pony logos front and rear make it known you are a Mustang owner.

19″ machine-faced aluminum wheels with high gloss black accents come as your standard wheels with 225/55/R19 all-season tires.

Cool Tech Features

Another notable feature is the Front Trunk or Frunk located where the engine normally would be. It offers 4.7 cubic feet of cargo volume and is made from a water-resistant material with a drain plug installed if you decide to use it for a large cooler at the local tailgating event. It contains four plug receptacles for powering devices or tools and two USB slots as well.

Let’s Step Inside

Once inside and sitting on the ActiveX Black Onyx seats, the large 15.5″ touchscreen with swipe capability greets you upon startup. Set your phone on the wireless charging pad, and gather all the info you need from the 10.2″ digital gauge cluster. Select between three different driving modes to alter the Mach-E’s performance, and you can also opt for 1 pedal driving, where slowing down the vehicle is as easy as lifting your foot off the accelerator pedal.

With a total of 6 USB ports inside the cabin, you’ll have plenty of options for hooking up your devices. A 360-degree rearview camera with a split view helps you back up safely. An auto-dimming rearview mirror helps with all those pesky night-time lights behind you. You’ll enjoy your music with a 6-speaker audio system.

Safety

The Mach-E comes standard with AdvanceTrac, a traction control system designed to keep vehicles from losing control in less-than-ideal driving conditions. Plenty of airbags throughout the car leave you with peace of mind. Adjustable head restraints are customized to your liking. The LATCH system is included for child carriers, and in the event of an actual crash, an onboard SOS post-crash alert system.
